There were three produce vendors on hand today at this little farmers markets, which makes a valiant effort to stay open year round, a challenge compounded this month by some unusually heavy snow falls. The vendors consisted of one selling mushrooms, another selling eggs and North Slope Farm, which had a small selection of storage crops on display, including the winter squash, apples, carrots and dried herbs that I bought.

What I Bought:

acorn squash

apples

carrots

dried echinacea leaves
